What are the turnover limits for auto-entrepreneur?
We are in the process of purchasing a property that consists of a 1 star campsite with a small shop and a property on the same site with our own accommodation and 5 B and B letting rooms run as a chambre d’hôtes. The building has a small restaurant that currently serves just breakfast, but which we intend to develop into a table d’hôtes - eventually with a small licence to serve wine.
Can we both trade from the one premise operating two distinct businesses, that from time to time complement each other? For example a camper wanting to eat a meal one night or perhaps a B and B client buying a loaf of bread from the shop? If so, can we register one of us as Enterprise individuelle, auto-entrepreneur - service with a turnover limit of €33300 (i.e. campsite) and the other as Enterprise individuelle, auto-entrepreneur, commercial (restaurant/bar, furnished accommodation) with a turnover limit of €83200? Is there any downside to operating in this manner?
