What happens if I go over the auto-entrepreneur business turnover limit?

I wanted to ask your advice on setting up an auto-entrepreneur business in France. I do arts public relations and have clients from Europe and beyond. Can you put work from anywhere in the world through the auto-entrepreneur status? At present I am just starting out, but what happens if I exceed the auto-entrepreneur turnover limit?

I haven’t yet set up a French bank account and won’t really be able to do this until the new year, will that be a problem for setting up an auto-entrepreneur status?
