Can I register as an auto-entrepreneur and have only one client?

I am moving to France with my husband in May. Currently I work full time for an online company and from May onwards I have agreed a freelance business writer contract of 35 hours a week with them.

I am applying for other freelance business work and hope to gain more clients and decrease my hours with my current employer in time. I will be moving to France with just my current employer as a client. Can I register as an auto-entrepreneur business in France in this set up?
